About Survivor Shelters

PROTECTING FAMILIES is the focus of Survivor Shelters

Survivor Shelters President, Erin Birdsong, knows the importance of keeping your family safe. For 10 years she managed JT Septic with her husband Jason, installing shelters for most of that time. It became apparent to her that under the current model, they could not provide the education and attention needed to their shelter customers. They needed a new business with a renewed commitment to safety and family.

That business is Survivor Shelters! With a commitment to customer service, every day more families trust us to keep them safe. A storm shelter can provide security and comfort in knowing that you're prepared for whatever the Oklahoma sky can throw at you. At Survivor Shelters, we do everything we can to make sure that your family has what they need to face extreme weather!

Growing up in Oklahoma, we have seen our share of devastating tornadoes and storms and the path of destruction that is often left behind. We know the feelings of terror and fear when they come too close to home. And yet, we are amazed at the number of homes, both rural and in our local communities, that still plan for finding shelter from a tornado by hiding in the closet or trying to drive away at the last minute.

Survivor Shelters makes it a policy to keep every model available onsite. Even better, eight of our in-ground models have been installed on site just as they would be installed in your yard for you and your family to really get a feel and understanding of the shelter that would suit your needs. Bring the family and visit our Claremore location to see and test out our models for yourself! We firmly stand behind the quality of our storm shelters and having the various models installed allows everyone to see the quality both inside and out.

The lifeblood of our business is referrals from our satisfied customers. We strive in each of our endeavors to earn the trust and respect of our customers so they continue to refer Survivor Shelters to their friends and family in order to ultimately protect the community. It is of utmost importance to us that we make 100% percent of our customers happy.

Come by and see our selection at 17311 OK-66, Claremore, OK 74017. Our team will gladly take the time to walk you through models so you can make an informed choice on what is the best fit for you, your family, and your budget.

Fierce Protector, Mother, Wife, & Entrepreneur

Erin's never shied away from hard work or getting her hands dirty. She started doing dirt work with her husband, Jason. They then expanded into the septic industry and opened JT Septic Co. in 2004. Survivor Shelters started out as a side business with only one size shelter available but quickly grew into a reputable full time business which now offers over 50 models of storm shelters and safe rooms! After 10 years of providing shelters, Erin and her team have been able to provide shelters and peace of mind to over 3,000 families!

Erin leads Survivor Shelters with a desire to provide better storm protection resources to her customers. She and her team dedicate themselves to making sure customers are satisfied as well as educated on storm safety. Every family wants and deserves to feel safe in their homes, and Survivor Shelters can help.

Erin is a multi-tasking, number crunching, business-minded boss lady who loves the people she works with and finds joy in helping customers! Erin also serves the community and prioritizes public safety through her roles as a Rogers County Sheriff's Office Deputy Reserve, a member of the Bicycle Patrol and Critical Incident Team, and an Advisory Board member for the Search and Rescue Team. When she's not immersed in her professional pursuits, you can bet you’ll find Erin spending time with her family. Whether it's quality time spent at home, enjoying the serenity of the lake, or embarking on exciting trips to rodeos with her daughter DJ, family remains at the heart of her priorities.
